Meet Leroy!
Leroy was rescued from a puppy mill recently with a group of 17 or so other dogs. He came to us Saturday the 30th and went directly home with me. Well, after a bath and clipping off of his horrible number tag. He's a 4 year old long-haired chihuahua. On Tuesday he was neutered and had 9 teeth removed which were rotting from his mouth.
He's really coming out of his shell, love's going for walks and also loves snuggling up in cozy blankets. He's a big fan of me as well. The moment he sees me his whole body begins to wiggle and once he's out of his kennel he jumps on my chest and licks my face. That's a big change from when he first came. He'll still cower to the back of his kennel and look unsure at times, and he's still adjusting to Eric, but I'm really surprised by his progress. It's a lot of work having another pooch, but not too bad really. I wouldn't get another big dog right now, but this little guy fits into our family just fine. I love him.
